As the Department Manager for Sludge, you will be the hub of our sludge suction operations and take full responsibility for the department – from planning to follow-up. You will lead the operations with a focus on quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and profitability, and be responsible for both the operational and financial results.
The role is both strategic and operational and involves close collaboration with administrators, customers, managers, and technical teams. You will report to the Production Manager.
Your mission
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing the sludge suction operations with a focus on:
- Leading, planning, and following up on the department's work and team
- Managing the department's finances, including budget, follow-up, and results
- Personnel responsibility with employee conversations, follow-up, and support in daily operations
- Ensuring a good working environment and compliance with safety and work environment routines
- Handling incoming inquiries via phone and email
- Conducting site visits, advice, and customer dialogue
- Working with quotes, maintenance agreements, and order placement
- Planning, booking, and coordinating assignments as well as transport management
- Following up on completed work and reporting back to customers
- Ensuring quality-assured invoicing documentation and correct documentation
- Responsible for FA reporting, area maps, tipping receipts, and contracts
- Developing and nurturing customer relationships and following up on existing agreements
- Following up on the vehicle fleet's service, repairs, and maintenance
- Handling damages and claims

Qualifications
- Experience in leadership or managerial roles
- Good administrative skills and computer proficiency
- Very good Swedish in speech and writing
- Driving license B
Meritorious:
- Experience from sludge suction, water and sewage, environmental or service operations
- Experience with budget and result responsibility
- Familiarity with customer contracts and authority contacts

Terms of employment
The position is full-time/daytime with the workplace in Stockholm, covering work across the entire Mälardalen region.
Travel may occur in the position.
Start date according to agreement.
